Adele sent social media into meltdown as she showed off her epic weight loss during her Saturday Night Live appearance.
SNL fans had nothing but praise for the talented songstress when she stepped out to perform her opening monologue in an elegant black outfit.
The Chasing Pavements star when went on to undergo several other dress changes as she showed off her trim physique in a number of figure hugging gowns and costsumes.
The songstress, who recently lost a remarkable seven stone as part of a gruelling weight loss journey, appeared in high spirits as she confidently took lead of the show.
It was the first time that Adele has debuted her newly slender figure on live television.
Joined by musician H.E.R, tonight’s guests delivered a showstopping performance as fans tuned in from around the globe.
Adele was quickly showered with praise as fans rushed to compliment the star on her “glowing” weight loss journey and confidence on stage.
“Adele looks amazing. She looked amazing before. But she also looks amazing now,” penned one fan.
“Adele girl tell me your diet tea because ma’am you look fantastic. #SNL #AdeleSNL” added a second.
“Im shook at how skinny Adele is, shes gLOWing though,” added another.
A fourth added: “watching #SNL and must I say, Adele looks amazing!”
The messages continued to pour in as the star assumed the role of several characters throughout the entertaining show.
“Adele is what I want to look like after a divorce,” joked one viewer.
“Adele u are such a QUEEN u made us laugh and u sang!!! Thank u so much we adore you and we will be patient till the next rumor!” wrote another.
The singer already had the crowds excited when she appeared in a promotional video yesterday where she tried to imitate an American accent.
Although the US accent didn’t really come out during tonight’s show, Adele still nailed her comedy sketches and blended in with ease among the SNL cast.
Tonight’s episode saw Adele come full circle after the show first catapulted her to US fame when she made her debut 12 years ago.
