Rob’s fans have been revelling in the hopes that he may be set for a castle stint ever since the slim chance of any future appearances on Keeping Up With The Kardashians was dashed thanks to the bombshell axing of his family’s reality show.
The 33-year-old reality star, who has stepped away from the public eye in recent years, has now had his odds slashed from 5/1 to just 3/1 as Ladbrokes predict he will feature in the next series of the hit ITV show.
With ITV chiefs chasing their strongest ever line-up, Rob is tipped to follow in Caitlyn Jenner’s footsteps and make a shock appearance in this year’s makeshift jungle.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes told Mirror Online: “We could well be keeping up with one Kardashian for a few more weeks as Rob’s odds of featuring on I’m A Celeb continue to tumble.”
Rob’s tipped appearance comes after it was officially announced this year’s show will still be able to go ahead in Gwrych Castle despite Wales entering a ‘circuit breaker’ lockdown to try and halt the spread of coronavirus.
The official Twitter account for the property wrote that following the recent announcement from First Minister Mark Drakeford, the series can take place because it counts as a place of work.
If the show could be created with everyone working from home then they would have to do so, but that would be impossible.
The tweet read: “Following the announcement today from the First Minister, the overriding message is that filming CAN continue in Wales providing related activity cannot be undertaken from home, and there is full compliance with Welsh law.
The ITV show, rumoured to have signed up stars including Jessica Plummer, Beverly Callard, and AJ Pritchard, is due to arrive on our screens in November.
The regulations are set to come in force at 6pm on Friday and last until November 9 – with the ITV reality show expected to launch on Sunday 15.
Following the latest tightening of social distancing, a spokesperson for the series confirmed to the Mirror that it will continue in keeping with the new rules.
“I’m A Celebrity continues to adhere to all relevant guidelines as well as our own strict Covid protocols,” they explained.
Progress is being made at the show’s new location despite the pandemic, and it was recently revealed that a new plumbing system was being installed at the listed building, for upcoming trials and the celebs to use in camp.
