Vernon Kay is isolating on his own before I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and he cut a lonely figure when he went out for a jog earlier this week.
The TV presenter, 46, has been forced to leave behind his wife Tess Daly and his two daughters Phoebe, 16, and 11-year-old Amber before the show even begins.
All of the star’s of this year’s ITV show are having to isolate before filming starts at Gwrych Castle in Abergele, north Wales, due to coronavirus restrictions.
And Vernon cut a lonely figure when he went out on his run in the Welsh countryside.
He braved the cold in a pair of short black gym shorts and some hiking boots.
Vernon donned an eye-catching pair of yellow and maroon socks and a blue woolly hat on his head.
The dad-of-two kept his upper body covered with a warm grey hoodie.
Vernon looked like he was getting a proper workout in as he ran through the hills.
At one point he appeared to take a tumble as he exercised.
He joins a whole host of stars taking part in I’m A Celebrity this year.
Olympian Sir Mo Farah, ex Strictly Come Dancing pro AJ Pritchard and Corrie legend Beverley Callard are heading to the castle.
Former EastEnders stars Jessica Plummer and Shane Richie, journalist Victoria Derbyshire, author Giovanna Fletcher, paralympian Hollie Arnold and radio DJ Jordan North complete the line-up.
Vernon previously admitted he’s doing the show for his kids.
“I am doing it for my daughters, Phoebe and Amber,” he explained.
“It’s a show they watch on a regular basis and they get behind the people in the camp.
“I think the fact I am involved in it will make it even more fun for them!
“And now it is approaching, they are so excited.
“Every time I talk about it, I get a double fist pump from them and they are thrilled to be involved.”
