Kara Tointon is pregnant again.
Strictly Come Dancing’s 2010 winner, 37, is expecting her second baby boy with her fiancé Marius Jensen.
Already the couple have been raising their son Frey after they welcomed him into the world in November 2018.
Her pregnancy was a happy surprise for the lovebirds who wanted to give their son Frey a sibling.
“I think this year has brought so many things in different ways. At the beginning of the year I was due to start a play, and now I am at home in a little cocoon and pregnant,” she told Hello! magazine.
“We really wanted a sibling for Frey. So we said: ‘If it happens, it happens; let’s go with the flow,’ and it happened much quicker than we expected. I did the test in May. We weren’t shocked but it was a surprise, and we feel so lucky…”
Kara doesn’t mind having a second boy, especially as she had such a close relationship with her sister Hannah growing up.
She added: “I am thinking how lovely for Frey to have a brother. I’ll be outnumbered with Marius and two boys but bring it on.”
In gorgeous photos, the pregnant starlet debuted her baby bump in a shoot with Hello! magazine.
Her baby bump took centre stage as the star slipped into a vibrant purple knitted dress for the occasion.
As temperatures cooled, the bombshell wore her cardigan with appliqué embroidery flowers falling off her shoulders.
Her honeycomb locks cascaded down her back and bounced off her shoulders.
Their love spans at least three years back to when Kara and Marius debuted their romance at the Wimbledon tennis championships in 2017.
Last year, Kara had opened up about her plans to marry her fiancé in her partner’s native Norway in 2020.
At the time, the actress said her mum’s health was her “priority” as she hadn’t been very well over the past year.
She told Lorraine in September last year: “We are hoping next year, perhaps in Norway or maybe in London. My mum hasn’t been too well over the last year or so and I want her to be able to enjoy it.
“Seeing her with Frey and dealing with everything she has to right now is overwhelming and I couldn’t be more proud.
“I just want her to be back to herself again. That’s our priority.”
No update on the couple’s wedding planning has been revealed since the coronavirus pandemic swept the globe.
Many couples have been forced to cancel or reschedule their wedding dates.
Numbers of people at a wedding has dropped again from 30 to 15 amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
Recently, Kara called her final Strictly dance a “car crash” as she endured an injury hours before her performance.
The Strictly winner danced with her pro partner Artem Chigvintsev through the agony after she had a torn ligament in her arm.
She exclusively told Mirror Online: “I always get a little bit upset about my final.
“You are meant to get better every week, but I had quite a bad injury in the final the day before, I pulled some ligaments in my arm.
“On the day of the final, I was in quite a lot of pain. So my final dance was a bit of a car crash. It was just awful because I couldn’t really move.”
