Katie Price has told that she is due to speak to police after her son Harvey was targeted by alleged “racist” online trolls in a cruel video.
The former glamour model, 42, announced that she is set to speak with law enforcement when she arrived at Heathrow Airport following a trip to the Maldives with boyfriend Carl Woods on Friday morning.
As the pair touched down in arrivals – clad in matching grey track suits – they were greeted by photographers and quizzed on if Katie had a message to the people who made the video.
The video saw a man wearing blackface make-up whilst doing an impression of 18-year-old Harvey beside a woman who was impersonating Katie.
As she was wheeled out of the airport by Carl, with a face mask on that was not covering her nose, Katie said that the people in the footage were yet to be found.
She said: “You need to find those guys online.”
She added: “I am doing a statement today to the police about someone who has already been arrested.
“It is not the guys in the video because you need to find them still.
“Someone knows who they are and someone needs to find them.”
This week a sickening clip was shared on Twitter that targeted Harvey – who has Prader-Willi Syndrome and partial blindness.
The woman pretending to be Katie said in the clip: “If someone says something horrible to Harvey. What do we say?”
Her partner responded: “Hello you c***s.”
Police confirmed that a 52-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of sending an offensive, indecent, obscene or menacing message on Thursday morning.
Katie reportedly spoke to officers by phone on Thursday from the Maldives, The Sun reports.
A spokeswoman for Sussex Police said: “A 52-year-old man from Hastings has been arrested by police investigating an offensive video posted on Twitter.
“Police were made aware of the video around 8.40pm on Wednesday .
“The man was arrested around 4.45am on Thursday on suspicion of sending by public communication network an offensive / indecent / obscene / menacing message.
“He remains in police custody at this time.”
Mirror Online has reached out to Katie Price ‘s representative for further comment.
On Wednesday, Katie admitted she was “upset” over the trolling.
Katie wrote: “Thanks as you know me and Harvey personally you know how upset I will be. Thank you for everything you do and your support with people like Harvey.”
Many Twitter users had the mother-of-five’s back with one distressed viewer even flagging the footage to the Sussex Police Twitter account.
In the comments, people were calling on Twitter to take down the video which they branded “racist” and “disgusting”.
“That’s obscene. Are they mocking Katie Price’s disabled son? Terrible thing to do.”
Katie has been campaigning to have Harvey’s Law passed to make online abuse illegal after her son has been targeted by trolls.
She gained the support of MPs in parliament for Harvey’s Law.
