Kim Kardashian says ‘future looks bright’ despite Kanye blowing $9m on election

Kim Kardashian cannot hide her joy at what she believes is an ‘optimistic future’ after Donald Trump was defeated by Democrats’ President-elect, Joe Biden.

The 40-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star has tweeted her support for the incoming team into the White House, and has particularly praised Vice President-elect Kamala Harris.

This is despite her husband reportedly blowing $9 million on a campaign to get him elected as President, which ultimately failed spectacularly.

With 160 million votes being cast and Kanye being on the ticket in 11 states, his huge investment and personal attacks against his own family on Twitter, led to just 60,000 voting for the rapper.

Kim has celebrated the new administration by putting on a very busty display in an Instagram pic she shared with her followers.

The mum-of-four posed in a plunging leather vest along with a burgundy skirt which accentuated her curvy figure.

She wore her long dark hair in a waist-length braid as she posed at what seems to be a photoshoot for the KKW Beauty founder.

Kim captioned the pic: “Our future looks bright.”

While the reality star seems happy with the new team taking over leading the country, Kim has had a good relationship with Trump and has praised him on his prison reform policies.

She refused to speak negatively about the outgoing President, when grilled about her political bias on David Letterman’s Netflix series, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

Kim did say that her friends were concerned that her reputation could be damaged if she went to the White House to see Trump but she justified her visit by saying that if she didn’t “these people’s lives don’t have a chance.”

Her advocacy led to Trump commuting the life sentence of Alice Johnson, who had spent more than 20 years behind bars for nonviolent drug offence, without parole.

Kim added: “Hopefully, for the next multiple administrations, I’ll be working with the White House, helping them with clemencies.”
