It would appear Christmas has come early for a whole host of celebrities who have put up their trees six weeks early after revealing they’re fed up with 2020.
Stars including Michelle Keegan, Chloe Ferry, Joan Collins and Kimberley Walsh have tried to beat the lockdown blues by getting out their glamorous decorations and turning their homes into a festive winter wonderland.
Here’s a look at some of the best Christmas trees of 2020 so far…
The former Coronation Street and Our Girl star transformed her and husband Mark Wright’s farmhouse into Santa’s Grotto.
The couple’s hallway boasts a tall Christmas tree which was decorated with candy canes, toy soldiers and glittery bows.
Brassic star Michelle also posted a photo of their front door on Instagram and showed off the incredible festive garland which greets their guests.
Michelle tagged Elements Home and Garden in the snap to showcase their hard work.
The actress wrote: “The festivities have started early It’s 2020, and the rules have gone out the window!! Pass me the mulled wine.”
On either side of their large door stood two nutcracker toy soldiers, which looked incredible.
They got fans into the festive spirit as many of them left comments about how stunning their home looked.
Meanwhile, Mark’s sister Jessica followed in their footsteps as she put up her tree shortly after.
The former TOWIE babe shared a video clip of the luxe tree in her living room where she time-lapsed herself decorating it.
Jessica spray painted her tree white to add the effect of snow and then draped some fairy lights around it for an extra sparkle.
She went all out and added plenty of baubles and pretty decorations for an extra touch before stepping back to admire her handy work.
The star added Michael Buble’s It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas over the top.
The reality star also placed fake present decorations around her living room to make it extra cosy.
Ex-Geordie Shore babe Chloe Ferry, 25, is another star who gave in and transformed her home into a festive wonderland.
The reality TV star took to her Instagram Story to show off her chic decorations throughout her Newcastle pad.
With festive music blaring in the background, Chloe filmed the whole decorating process for her fans to see, as she got into the Christmas spirit with her two pooches.
Chloe opted to keep in line with the decor theme of her house, choosing white and silver decorations.
Her sitting room featured a stunning faux Christmas tree that was adorned with lights, tinsel and ornaments.
She put fake presents under the tree for an extra hint of festive cheer.
She then moved on to show her living room, which was decked out in Christmas decor, featuring a huge tree with lights and ornaments, as well as a Santa standing beside it.
Chloe also set the mood with many candles, proving she’s a fan of the cosy setting.
She wrote: “It’s bonfire night reet but this year has been s**t and am calling it a f**king day. Merry Christmas ya filthy animals!”
Former Radio 1 DJ Maya Jama put her Christmas tree up back in September, claiming she is “so done with 2020”.
The television presenter, 26, shared a post in partnership with hair care brand Aussie Hair on Instagram.
The post saw an image of Maya in a cream roll-neck jumper dress as she posed with a wink and her tongue out beside a purple-themed decorated Christmas tree.
Beneath the tree was a collection of Aussie Hair products that the beauty was promoting.
Maya joked: “So done with 2020 I’m flinging the Christmas tree up now.”
Kieron Richardson went all out this year to surprise his children Phoebe and Chase.
The former Hollyoaks star and his husband Carl Hyland’s living room was barely visible underneath the well-decorated room.
They showed off their festive display, complete with a garland above their patio doors and a huge tree which was placed beside a gorgeous vintage street lamp.
Their beautiful home represented the fictional land of Narnia as it was covered with fake snow and plenty of glitter.
Former Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh showed off her beautiful Christmas display on her Instagram.
The singer is waiting to put up her tree as she revealed she is getting a real one in December.
She wrote: “I’m fully aware it’s early November but lockdown 2 is decidedly more depressing than the first one so here we are… no trees yet cos I have to have real ones for the smell and they’ll be done by the 1st of December.
“It seriously brightened up my weekend and although my kids think I’m mad they love it so much️. Do whatever makes you happy right now peeps and spread the love.”
Dame Joan Collins is another star who jumped on the bandwagon and put her tree up early.
Staring at the tree, the American Horror Story actress held up a glass of fizz as she toasted to the festive season early.
Her glamorous theme was white, gold and red and she also included a picture of what appeared to be her husband Percy Gibson hanging in one snowflake bauble.
The Coronation Street actor proved he is ready for Christmas as she slipped into his festive pyjamas over the weekend and put the tree up with his family.
His girlfriend Tisha Merry and daughter Sienna-Rae joined in as they all had fun decorating the huge tree which reached the top of their stairs.
He wrote: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Who can blame us for wanting to get 2020 out of the way? So much fun singing and dancing to Christmas music tonight and putting up our tree.”
The pregnant reality star gleefully spruced up her home by putting up two incredible trees.
Taking to her Instagram, she wrote: “I mean it’s never too early for chuffin Christmas is it?? Especially this year… 2k20!!!”
Charlotte added: “I just had to get mine up & this year she has gone all out… I mean I had to, first Xmas engaged & the last Xmas as 2 of us…
“The fabulous @christmasdecorators who are actual Christmas fairies have transformed our gaff into Chazzas Winter Wonderland. I mean why have one tree when you can have two?? We based the theme on our little baby boyo and even added a touch of pink cos it’s a too glam to give a chuffin damn Christmas…
“We have big bloody baubles in the garden too & meet mr naughteh nutcracker. I’m just in love and can’t wait to get cosy every day in my pjs watching the holiday on repeat my favourite time of year…
“What do you all think??? I don’t do things by halves! [sic].”
