Social media star Molly-Mae Hague has said a scar on her leg will “triple in size” after she undergoes a new surgery.
The Love Island 2019 star, 21, has previously had a mole removed on her leg over fears of cancer.
Now the beauty is due another surgery on the area next week and updated her fans on her social media accounts.
Sharing a picture of the small scar on her leg on her Instagram Stories, Molly-Mae penned: “Update: Just took my bandages off yesterday and I’m so happy with how this is healing.
“Showing this for the people that are having moles removed and don’t have to have anything done further.
“I know after a year of using bio oil this would not be an issue for me! So don’t worry too much about scarring.”
The social media star then added: “This is about to be triple the size and become two but oh well, was small looking while it lasted.”
The down-to-earth influencer then joked: “Sorry if you can see hairs, I’ve not been able to shave around this region.”
Molly-Mae had previously told her fans this week that the upcoming operation will hamper her Halloween plans with boyfriend and Love Island co-star Tommy Fury.
She revealed: “Halloween is ruined for me this year because of my operation.
“Literally the first thing I said when I found out the date.
“Don’t wanna talk about it tbh I wait for Halloween all year so I’m very upset.”
The news of the operation followed a previous lengthy update that the sometimes-model gave her fans on social media a few days earlier.
She penned: “So about three weeks ago now I was advised that a mole I had on my leg needed removing. I had the procedure done within a few days.
“Last week, I received my results back and it’s safe to say they were not at all what I was expecting.
“I’ve been trying to process the information I received whilst being super busy with work and it’s not been easy.
“I’m still not able to give my full diagnosis until my further surgery has taken place and I’ve received those results, but for now I’m just trying to stay positive.”
She concluded: “I never thought at 21 something like this would happen to me and it’s very scary but all I know is that I absolutely need to share my story and what I’m going through to raise awareness of this situation….”
“I’ll keep you all updated as much as I can, I’ve already received so many lovely messages from you guys and I appreciate it so much.”
