Molly Mae Hague has joked that it is ‘not a compliment’ as fans keep comparing the Love Island star to her lookalike older sister.
The 21-year-old reality star, who shot to fame when she found love with Tommy Fury on the ITV show, what chatting to fans during a Q&A session when she made the cheeky dig.
Sharing several videos with her 4.9 million Instagram followers, Molly agreed with her fans that lots of people had drawn the same comparison.
The television personality then joked that it ‘wasn’t a compliment’ that people say she looks like her sister Zoe, 24, before quickly backtracking.
“You look exactly like you sister without filler it’s so cute,” the original message read.
“No I actually do, we look so similar now its ridiculous,” Molly replied to her fans in the heavily edited Instagram video.
“That’s exactly what everyone’s saying, like all my close friends are like ‘you look exactly like my sister’.
“Its not a compliment – no I’m joking,” Molly quickly added.
Molly Mae actually shares a close bond with her older sister Zoe, who is currently in the military.
The siblings, who both boast striking blonde hair, even enjoyed a lavish trip to Crete alongside fellow Love Island star Maura Higgins and celebrity hairstylist Jay Birmingham.
Exactly one year ago today, Molly Mae also paid tribute to her older sister on Remembrance Day as she spoke of her pride over Zoe’s choice of career.
“Proud of my sister every single day for what she does,” the reality star penned in the post.
“Following in my Grandad’s footsteps.”
Aside from cheekily teasing her older sister in her latest social media post, Molly also answered several other questions from loyal fans in the Q&A session.
At one point, Molly fumed about not being able to watch her beau Tommy Fury fight on Friday as fans quizzed why they weren’t spending time together.
She said: “So many questions about why Tommy and I aren’t together right now, and that’s mainly because he has gone away for his fight on Friday and he’s had to create a new social bubble down in London.”
“It’s going to kill me, I’m really gutted about it I was so excited to go but Tommy told me I can’t come, I literally thought he was joking,” she later added.
