Stacey Solomon was left in floods of tears after receiving a special present this morning.
The 31-year-old Loose Women star took to her Instagram Story with tears in her eyes as she shared a beautiful book presented to her by a collection of small businesses who wanted to thank her for her support during the coronavirus pandemic.
A number of companies had collaborated on the thoughtful gift after being name-checked on Stacey’s influential Instagram account, which has nearly four million followers.
“This morning’s montage is going to be a bit of a different one today because I received something yesterday and I haven’t stopped crying since. Honestly it’s really made me think about so many things,” she wrote on her Story.
“It’s a book full of letters and messages from small businesses I’ve tagged.
“There’s nothing I feel more proud of right now and it makes me sob every time I read it.
“Some of the businesses have opened warehouses but most importantly been able to support their families through lockdown when they didn’t think they could.”
“This is you guys, the support and love from you has done this!
“I don’t know how I’ve ended up in this incredible community but I’m forever grateful and I will never stop using it for the important things. We rise by lifting others ALWAYS.”
She then told the camera: “Now I’ve got to stop reading this book, but thank you, I love it.
“I know there’s so many small businesses out there that I haven’t got around to mentioning, also that I haven’t even discovered that really need help at the moment, so I’m just going to keep sharing as many as I can.”
She suggested that companies who get in touch with her for freebies could instead do giveaways via Stacey, before telling her followers: “I love you loads.”
It comes after the former X Factor star saw her bank balance bulge over lockdown thanks to some savvy business deals.
Mum of three Stacey – who is with I’m A Celebrity star Joe Swash – is now worth nearly £1.4million after her £3,000-an-episode appearances on Loose Women and her sell-out Primark range.
Her company Key May Entertainments now has a net worth of £1,373,246 from June 30, according to Companies House.
It’s a £484,483 increase on last year’s £888,763.
