And despite admitting that training is nothing short of gruelling, Maisie insists that week 2 isn’t even ready for her.
With her head in the game, Maisie shared a candid clip with her 794k followers as she warm-up danced to grime music.
“Issa new week, let’s go,” she wrote, alongside a punching emoji.
She then added: “Week 2 you’re not even ready for me. (Just warming up).”
Last week, Maisie and her dance pro partner Gorka Marquez sent pulses racing with a very sexy samba dance.
She’s the youngest in the competition at 19 but bowled over the judges and fans with her first performance to Samba (Conga) by Gloria Estefan.
Maisie received a standing ovation, with head judge Shirley Ballas praising her for “pushing herself and challenging herself”, adding: “Absolutely fabulous!”
Meanwhile, Motsi Mabuse said that she “got them up dancing”.
She added: “So authentic, shake it up – I’m going crazy here!”
Maisie has been hitting the gym on the regular to ensure she’s bringing her A game to the dance floor on the hit BBC One dance show.
The soap star has been on a mission to get in tip top shape for her dance stint and revealed to fans in September that she had been making regular gym trips.
Speaking to New! mag earlier this month, Maisie revealed: “I’ll be honest, I love going to the gym – it’s my happy place where I can work on myself.”
She went on: “But in lockdown it was closed and I didn’t do one home workout. I just couldn’t be bothered. I was tired. But as soon as the gyms opened again, I knew I was doing Strictly, and I’ve gone every single day to prepare.
“I know how hard it is and I want to be fit enough.”
*Strictly Come Dancing airs Saturdays and Sundays on BBC One.
